The aim of the Ceramic Arts Studio is to introduce students to the creative potential of clay, enabling them to select appropriate materials and techniques based on the narratives they wish to convey.

• Becoming familiar with materials and techniques related to shaping form and treating surfaces.
• Exploring the historical use of ceramic materials and their role in human development from prehistory to the present day.
• Understanding the meanings, symbolism, and conceptual significance that materials and various techniques contribute to contemporary ceramic art.

To this end, the curriculum includes specialised lectures, practical exercises, seminars, and related activities. The studio is equipped with high-temperature kilns and other essential facilities, where students receive hands-on training in the creation of visual art using ceramic materials.
