Instructions for Connecting to the Wi-Fi Network & Eduroam network

The network name (SSID) for the Piraeus Street building complex is Asfa wifi. You need a password to connect to it, which you can get from the Network Management Department.

You can also use the Eduroam network, which lets you connect with the personal credentials the School has given you. First download the geteduroam app from your device’s app store or from https://www.geteduroam.app/. It supports many operating systems, so it works on laptops, tablets and smartphones.

This service is mainly useful for visitors from other universities, who can connect to our wireless network here with their own credentials.

It works the other way round too. With your personal credentials you can connect wherever the global Eduroam network is available, in Greece and abroad (for example at other universities, airports and museums).

See the world map of all access points: https://monitor.eduroam.org/map_service_loc.php

One thing to remember: other services such as eClass and Delos365 ask only for your username when you log in. Eduroam is different. Your Eduroam username is your username followed by @asfa.gr. For example, if your username is angpap, your Eduroam username is angpap@asfa.gr. This is NOT the same as your email address, except for students, whose Eduroam username and email address are the same.

A small group of users were left out of the Uregister process. If you are one of them, please contact the Network Management Department for instructions on connecting to Eduroam.
