Pantelis Chandris was born in Athens in 1963. He studied painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts under Dimitris Mytaras and Rena Papaspirou. To date, he has held 16 solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions both in Greece and abroad.

He is the director of the 10th painting studio at the Athens School of Fine Arts, where he also teaches as a Professor.

In recognition of his work, he received the 1st Prize from the Giannis & Zoe Spyropoulos Foundation in 1992, and in 2010 he was awarded the 1st Prize by AICA Hellas for his exhibition titled “Ens Solum.”

His works are included in the collections of the National Museum of Contemporary Art (EMST), the National Gallery, and the National Sculpture Museum, as well as in significant private collections in Greece and abroad.
