Dimitra Chanioti was born in Paros in 1977.
She studied at the Athens School of Fine Arts under the guidance of Yannis Psychopedis from 1998 to 2004, and in the Photography Studio with Manolis Baboussis from 2001 to 2004. She also attended video and image editing classes taught by Erato Hadjisavva during the same period. From 2002 to 2006, she served as Artistic Director and taught at the Visual Arts Workshop of the Municipality of Paros, part of the Ministry of Culture’s Network of Art Workshops.
In 2005, she was appointed to Secondary Education, where she taught Visual Arts. From 2009 to 2012, she pursued postgraduate studies in “Education and Culture” at Harokopio University.
Since 2018, she has been teaching in the Department of Painting at the ASFA.
She has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Greece and abroad. Her works are held in private collections in Greece and abroad.
