The Department is responsible for collecting all types of legislation, circulars, and guidelines related to studies and coordinating their consistent implementation; for promoting the procedures for the approval of postgraduate study programs; for maintaining an archive of legislation related to academic matters; and for implementing the decisions of the Rectoral Authorities and the Senate concerning student welfare (both on undergraduate and postgraduate level). The main objective of the Department of Studies and Student Welfare is to ensure fundamental social benefits such as free meals, free accommodation, housing allowance, issuance of the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC), student sports activities, etc., in order to make comprehensive studies accessible to the entire student community.
