Centre for Teaching and Learning Support
The Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) was established in accordance with the provisions of Article 51 of Law 4009/2011 and Articles 7 and 84(8) of Law 4485/2017, following Decision No. 1303/8-4-2022 of the Senate of the Athens School of Fine Arts. Pursuant to Law 4957/2022, it was renamed “Centre for Teaching and Learning Support” (CTLS) on 30 May 2023, by Decision of the Senate of the Athens School of Fine Arts.
The objective of the CTLS is the continuous support of the teaching and learning process, the assurance of high-quality teaching, and the provision of specialised services in relation to the aforementioned processes, within the framework of the continuously evolving European Higher Education Area (EHEA) and the principles of Lifelong Learning.
Strategic objectives of the Athens School of Fine Arts CTLS:
- Creating a community of learning, innovation, and continuous improvement of teaching offered at ASFA, by supporting the teaching staff in the exchange and development of best teaching practices.
- Identifying and documenting needs of the teaching staff.
- Reflecting upon and developing modern and effective educational initiatives through the integration and utilisation of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in the teaching process, with the aim of creating a learning environment that optimally supports and facilitates learning.
