Counselling and Mental Care Unit
∗ Due to expiration of the Project “Social Welfare Interventions to support the Student Community of the Athens School of Fine Arts” on 30.09.2023, the Unit has stopped its operation since 01.10.2023. Also, scholarships for covering the costs of the thesis of students of the Department of Visual Arts that were included in the same Act will not be awarded.
A Unit has been established in the Athens School of Fine Arts which provides Support, Counselling and Mental Health Care to students of the School within the framework of the Project “Social Welfare Interventions to support the Student Community of the Athens School of Fine Arts”.
The Unit’s purpose is to strengthen the actions of the Student Care at the ASFA with the main objective to improve the rate of timely completion of studies for the School’s students.
ASFA’s students have the opportunity, if they wish, to visit, by appointment, the existing scientific team consisting of a psychiatrist, a psychologist and social workers.

The Unit is located opposite the library building in the premises of the ASFA at 256 Peiraios str., and it is open all year round except for the months of July and August.

Offering scholarships in order to cover the costs of the thesis of students of the Department of Visual Arts for the academic year 2017-2018
In the framework of the Project “Social Welfare Interventions to support the Student Community of the Athens School of Fine Arts” financial support is offered in the form of a scholarship to cover the costs of a thesis of students of the Department of Visual Arts for the academic year 2017-2018.
Undergraduate students studying at the final year of studies of the Department of Visual Arts of the ASFA are eligible to apply.
