Born in Athens in 1960, Annita Argyroiliopoulou pursued a Bachelor of Arts at Deree College before studying painting at the Athens School of Visual Arts (ASFA). She has presented her work in nine solo exhibitions and in seventy group shows such as 5th Mediterranean Youth Biennale in Marseilles 1990, Flexible I Pan-European Art (UK, Poland, Germany, Holland 1993-4), 9th International Triennale of Tapestry (Lodz, 1998), Places, (Benaki Museum, 2007), Memory of the Revolution (ΑSFA. 2018), Theorimata 2: About History, (National Museum of Contemporary Art  2020),  Presence-Absence (NGVU Belgrade2022), Medusa (Benaki Museum,  2022) etc.  She is a member of the artistic group “Horror Vacui”.
