Athens Photo Festival 2026 International Open Call — Athens Photo Festival 2026 Submit Your Work for the Exhibition Program Athens Photo Festival is now accepting submissions from artists and photographers worldwide for its Exhibition Program. Selected projects will be on view from 10 June to 26 July 2026 at Benaki Museum / Pireos 138, one of Greece’s most prestigious cultural institutions. Submissions close on Monday, 9 March 2026. Through this open call, the Festival will feature the work of 80+ artists from around the world. Exploring cultural, artistic, social, and political perspectives, it offers a dynamic platform for exchange, artistic dialogue, and engagement with photography and visual culture.We welcome projects across the full spectrum of photographic practice — from fine art and conceptual work to documentary and photojournalism — as well as expanded image-based forms, including installation, performance, and moving image. The Main Program will occupy all exhibition spaces at Benaki Museum / Pireos 138, spanning over 3,000 square meters. Alongside the exhibitions, the Festival presents a program of events and initiatives, including educational activities, networking and talent development opportunities, community outreach, and public programs. What Your Entry Includes Exhibition opportunity: 80 artists will present their work at Benaki Museum / Pireos 138 during Athens Photo Festival 2026. Production support: The Festival will cover production costs for selected works included in the Exhibition Program. Accommodation: Participating artists receive a two-night stay. Festival Catalog: Selected projects will be featured in the Festival’s printed catalogue. Digital showcase: Selected artists will be featured on the Festival website, in the newsletter, and on the Festival’s official social media channels. International Portfolio Reviews: 15 selected artists will participate free of charge. APhF Talent Lab: 5 selected artists will participate free of charge in the APhF Talent Lab, a professional development program for emerging artists. APhRC Artist Residency: 1 artist will be selected for the Athens Photo Research Center Artist Residency — a three-week residency with accommodation and travel expenses covered, plus a €600 honorarium. APhF Connect: 50 additional shortlisted artists will receive one-year access to APhF Connect, a by-invitation platform presenting their work to 100+ international industry professionals.
