Recognising the significance of sports in students\u2019 lives, the ASFA is concerned with and takes care of athletics and sports. As the ASFA does not have its own sports facilities, there has been a collaboration with the National Technical University of Athens and the Panteion University so students of all study cycles in the ASFA may use the sports facilities and their services according to the terms and conditions that apply to the students of these HEIs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
More specifically:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u25b6 the Department of Physical Education of NTUA runs in two different sports premises:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
a) at the NTUA Sports Center<\/a> at Iroon Polytechneiou 9, Zografou, Athens 15772. Information on how to issue a membership card of the NTUA sport center here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n b) in the building complex of 42 Patision str. (Bouboulina\u2019s building) where there is a machine room for muscle strengthening and an aerobic exercise room<\/p>\n\n\n\n More specifically, the sports<\/a> that interested students can be involved with are: gymnastics\/fitness training, aerobics, volleyball, football, yoga, pilates, table tennis, table tennis, tennis, swimming, polo, sailing, windsurfing, windsurfing, scuba diving, rapel, karate, judo, windsurfing, climbing, athletics, horse riding, skiing, chess, ski racing, water skiing, etc. Participation in sports events is free of charge, with the exception of some sports in which students pay a part of the costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u25b6 the Panteion University has a gym<\/a> at Neos Kosmos, at 36 Ipponaktos str.
